Bead Apex Equipment & Process
The Machine shall be used for bead wrapping and apex application. The beads are to be done for all-steel truck tire building using a profile belt formed by the wrap and apex. Bead wrapping and completing with apex to be carried out in one cycle.
The Apex Profile is to be prepared by means of extruding and cutting on required length in advance. This semi-product shall be stored in leaf trucks.
The wrap is to be a rubberised textile strip cut to length by the operator. The strip shall be stored in a wound form on cylindrical shell.
The Apex Application is to be carried out by a shaping drum of multi-plate type, which is equipped with radial opening central part, right part of dumping and bending lever and left part of thrust fingers. Beads are manually shifted to a take off position.
The machine shall be used for apex production at range of 20" to 22.5" by changing of shaping drum (the drum shall be assembled at drum shaft).
